  • Currently, all lessons are conducted online, allowing you to learn from anywhere.
     

3. What equipment do I need to start?

  • For classical guitar lessons, you’ll need a guitar and a tuner. For music theory or composition classes, you only need a notebook or notation software, and an instrument if you prefer. For history and music appreciation lessons a notebook is all you'll need.

4. How do you teach Spanish with Mexican Folklore Music?

  • I use traditional song lyrics to teach vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar while exploring their cultural and historical context. Lessons include singing, lyric analysis, and optional basic instrument techniques for a fun, immersive experience.

5. How long are the lessons?

  • Depending on the plan you choose, lessons are either half an hour or one hour long.
     

6. Do you offer a trial lesson or introductory call?

  • Yes, I offer a free introductory call to discuss your goals, answer questions, and see if I’m the right teacher for you.

While I focus on providing high-quality instruction, I recognize the importance of flexibility.   • I understand that unexpected things can happen. If you need to change the time of a lesson, I ask that you let me know at least 24 hours in advance so we can reschedule at no additional cost.

14. Do I need to know how to read sheet music to take guitar or theory lessons?

  • You don’t need to know how to read sheet music to start. During the lessons, you’ll learn how to read music if you want, but it’s not required.

  • I use a mix of traditional and personalized methods, focusing on technique, expression, and music theory. Depending on your level, we can work with classical repertoire or modern compositions.
